Keanu has been dancing for The Island Dance Academy For the past 9 months and has just recently moved up to the big girls class!  Being raised with a brother, tons of boy cousins, and all of her uncles, she has really developed a personality of a tom boy.  Total MOK action...however because of her love for dance, has learned to be more graceful and lady like.

Keanu is so blessed to be constantly supported by her family.  Aunty Tita, Paea, Ubba, Nela, Mommy, Grandma, Bubba, and daddy were all there watching her practice!

Fall soccer season has started!  The Bumblebee's are coached by Uncle Charles and ofcourse along side is Kawohi!  Keanu is part of a 5 player team which include her cousin Kalia!  Wailani and Mommy are ofcourse her number 1 fans always cheering her on and even participates in her practices!  We can't wait for her first game this Saturday!  Being Competitive runs in her blood and she refuses to lose!  She has that fire in her to always give her best and come out as a winner!

This Past Friday we attended Keanu's open house and got to meet all of her teachers who had so many good things to say about her.  Kawohi was so excited to see her gym and where her PE class is held, but most of all we just roamed around as proud parents!  It was always our dream for Keanu to attend Kamehameha Schools!  She is now the third generation in her family to attend Kamehameha Schools, from her Gransy who is a Kamehameha graduate, Kawohi who attended and dormed in his 7th and 8th grade schools years, and her Uncle Mea who graduated here at the Hawai'i campus!  Many of her teachers acknowledge her as Uncle Mea's niece who has made a tremendous impact on many of his previous teachers!  Mahalo Uncle Mea!

School

The school year has begun and both KeanuMarie and Wailani have transitioned so well into their new classrooms.  Both have already developed friendships and made  great first impressions with their teachers.
